CLS is proud to say that our drivers are specially trained to care for children with special needs and delayed intellectual developmental skills, and other disabilities. CLS drivers go though the therapeutic foster care training program provided in North Carolina, which covers:
- Adult & Infant CPR
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Seizure Management
- First Aid and more.
The parents and schools of the students we transport appreciate our deep commitment to making sure each pupil safely arrives to receive the education they need. While quality is of the utmost importance, CLS recognizes that providing excellent service isn’t always enough. At a time when education dollars are stretched thin, cost reduction is critical. Schools are willing to consider alternative delivery models to reduce or contain costs. With this in mind, CLS aims to transition students from traditional large school buses to fuel efficient vans and sedans.
